BrightEdge Wears ("we," "us," "our") operates brightedgewears.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what your rights are. We are a small business and we don't sell your data to anyone, ever.

Information we collect

• Order information: name, shipping address, email, phone (optional), and payment details (handled by Stripe — we never see or store card numbers).
• Account information: if you create an account, we store your email and a hashed password.
• Communications: messages you send us through the contact form or email.
• Automatic data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referrer, collected through server logs and analytics.

How we use it

• To process and ship your order.
• To answer your questions and provide customer support.
• To send occasional newsletters (only if you subscribe — one-click unsubscribe in every email).
• To detect fraud and secure the site.
• To measure aggregate site performance.

Who we share it with

We share only what's necessary to fulfill your order, with:

• Stripe — payment processing
• USPS / UPS — shipping
• Google Analytics — aggregate site traffic (IP anonymization enabled)
• Microsoft Clarity & Microsoft Advertising — session analytics and advertising measurement
• Bing Webmaster & Google Search Console — indexing and crawl statistics

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing.

We use cookies to remember your cart, keep you signed in, and measure traffic. See our Cookie Policy for detail. You can decline non-essential cookies through the banner at the bottom of the site.

Data retention

Order records are kept for seven years to comply with tax law. Analytics data is retained for 26 months. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email press@brightedgewears.com and we'll respond within 30 days. Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah have specific rights under state law (CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA, UCPA) — we honor those requests regardless of residence.

Children

Our site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

The entire site runs on HTTPS with TLS 1.3. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Payment data never touches our servers. We audit our stack quarterly.

Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top will change and, for material changes, we'll email account holders.
