Frequently Asked

Where are your clothes made?

Every garment is cut, sewn, and finished in the United States. About 85% of production happens inside our Houston workshop at 1440 Norma Avenue; the remainder is stitched by two partner workshops in San Antonio and Dallas.

Do you offer wholesale?

Yes, in limited quantities. Email press@brightedgewears.com with your shop name, location, and a link to your site. We reply within three business days.

How does your sizing run?

True to size for most people. Our jackets are cut a touch roomy through the shoulder to accommodate layering. If you're between sizes, size down.

What is the waxed cotton finish like?

Our 10oz British Millerain wax feels dry and slightly stiff for the first few weeks, then softens and develops light creasing at points of movement. It's water-resistant, not waterproof.

Can I re-wax my jacket?

Yes. We sell a small tin of Millerain re-proofing wax for $18, and we'll re-wax any Cypress Coat purchased from us for a flat $30 including return shipping.

Do you take custom orders?

Occasionally, for parties of two or more (uniform runs for shops, restaurants, farms). Reach out and we'll talk.

How do I care for selvedge denim?

Wear them for six months before the first wash, then wash cold, inside out, hang dry. Detergent should be gentle and additive-free.

Is the site secure for purchases?

All orders are processed over HTTPS with 256-bit TLS. Payment information is handled by Stripe; we never store card details on our servers.
